Workshop Overview

As home to over 80 theatre companies, big and small, the Washington, DC area is a destination for actors, directors, and theatre artists. This two-day workshop offers practical tools for preparing audition monologues and sides. Students perform monologues and receive feedback, and work on sides from contemporary plays.

Students also gain insights on developing professional relationships, taking out of town work, casting trends in the DC area, and navigating the world of theatre beyond the audition process.
