Health & Covid Safety
Health & Covid Safety Policy
We request that staff, faculty, and students remain at home or go home if they are feeling unwell or are showing symptoms of any respiratory illness, including COVID-19, RSV, influenza, and others.
Students: In the event of any illness, please contact your class captain and teacher.
The CDC recommends that a person with Covid may return to normal activities when, for at least 24 hours, symptoms are improving overall, and if a fever was present, it has been gone without use of a fever-reducing medication. Then, for the next 10 days, they recommend taking precautions such as wearing a mask in crowded indoor situations.
For more information on all respiratory virus symptoms, including COVID-19 symptoms, please visit the CDC website and adhere to the CDC’s guidelines on returning to campus after a positive COVID-19 case, exposure, or other respiratory illnesses. Visit https://www.cdc.gov/respiratory-viruses/guidance/
For all respiratory illnesses, we ask that you monitor symptoms, self-isolate if symptoms appear, and stay home until they have been fever-free for at least 24 hours and symptoms have improved.
While proof of vaccination is no longer required, it is strongly recommended that you be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations, flu, and others.
This policy may be updated as circumstances and guidelines change.
Any questions or concerns about compliance should be directed to the Executive Director, Emily Morrison, at emily@studioactingconservatory.org.
Thank you for helping to keep our community safe!
