We’re happy to announce a new workshop this spring: On-Camera Technique, taught by filmmaker and faculty member Nancy Bannon! Join us to learn the basics of being on-camera, including focal point, playing area, and using your acting technique to connect to the camera. Nancy will also cover creating self-tapes for theatre and film, and on camera auditions with scenes and monologues. Actors will practice with the camera and see themselves on screen. Part of Day 2 will be a discussion of working on set, and how to work with a director to bring your best possible work to the project.
(Note: this is not an acting class, but a workshop focusing on camera technique)
