Studio Acting Conservatory will be participating in the upcoming Shakespeare Everywhere Festival this fall! Members of the Conservatory faculty will take part in two panels as part of the city-wide festival, both of which are free and open to the public:
Saturday, October 28, 3pm: Teaching Shakespeare: Why & How?
A panel discussion about the importance of studying Shakespeare, and the expertise required to teach it. Led by founder Joy Zinoman, with members of the Conservatory faculty, the panel will discuss why the contemporary actor needs to study the classics, and specific techniques and exercises for training. Saturday, November 18th, 3pm: Try It In Translation
A comparison of original Shakespeare texts with updated, contemporary translations and adaptions commissioned by Play On Shakespeare. Register Here!
